Located on the backwaters of Khadakwasla lake, Mandvi, this site of 1050 acres rises from the waterfront to nearly 2000 meters above sea level. The dramatic terrain overlooking the lake and the Sinhgad Fort across the river was planned as a low-density hillstation. The idea was to develop a self-contained sustainable hillstation which not only gives boost to the state tourism but also upgrades the ecological and environmental situation of the area. The concept was based on bringing urban people closer to nature, make them environmentally conscious and involve them in bringing a green revolution to the area.
